Our toddler program is designed for children ages two to three who are learning to communicate, build, and explore the world around them. Teachers guide this energetic stage with play based learning, gentle routines, and plenty of opportunities for creativity and movement.

Social skills, language, and independence

Social skills and friendship

Toddlers begin learning how to play, share, and interact with other children while also navigating big feelings. Teachers gently guide these early social and emotional experiences so children build confidence, empathy, and friendships.

Language and communication

Language grows quickly during the toddler years. Teachers support communication through conversation, storytelling, songs, and play so children build vocabulary and learn to express their thoughts and feelings.

Growing independence

Toddlers begin practicing everyday independence, from helping with simple daily routines, putting on their own jackets, to learning to use the potty when they are ready. Teachers work closely with families to support this stage with patience and encouragement.

Inside the toddler classroom

A typical day mixes guided activities with free choice play. Structure helps toddlers feel confident; flexibility keeps them curious. Teachers also work closely with families during potty training so children feel confident and supported as they reach this important milestone.

Toddler tuition and what's included

Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks are provided every day. Diapers and wipes included. There's nothing extra to pack in the morning. We make mornings easier for parents by including everyday essentials for your child.

$800 deposit due at enrollment (includes $200 non-refundable enrollment fee). $100 annual registration fee. 10% sibling discount for full-time enrollment.

We accept child care subsidies including Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) and the Seattle Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).

A program that grows with your child

Many families start in our infant room and stay with us for years. Our curriculum expands as children get older, including opportunities for preschoolers to explore parks, museums, and neighborhoods throughout Seattle.
